 Ms. Maree McPherson Executive Officer mareem@gippslandacc.com.au Maree McPherson is the Executive Officer to the Committee. Maree has over twenty years experience in community development work with several years in senior management roles in Gippsland. Maree has tertiary qualifications in social welfare, as well as in business, majoring in labour - management relations. She is a fellow of the Gippsland Community Leadership Program, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Maree's career has predominantly been in non-government and statutory agencies. She has been a member of management and advisory committees for a range of local, state and national organisations, and is an experienced Company and not-for-profit Director. She is currently independent Chair of the Audit Committee for the Bairnsdale based Noweyung Ltd, an organisation providing education and support services for adults with intellectual disabilities. Maree is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Traralgon Central. | | |  Mr. Terry Vincent Small Business Field Officer terryv@gippslandacc.com.au Terry Vincent is the Small Business Field Officer representing the Commonwealth Government Small Business Field Officer Program. The Small Business Field Officer Program provides a free advisory, referral and support services to small business owners and operators located in regional and rural Australia.
Terry has extensive management experience in both the private and public sectors. He has a background in small business management incorporating business development, marketing and sales, logistics as well as financial and general management. He also has experience with exporting and importing of products and has spent considerable time dealing within the Asian region. Terry managed his own small business for a number of years and therefore is fully cognizant of the needs of small business. | | |  Ms. Victoria Reynolds Project Officer victoriar@gippslandacc.com.au Victoria brings to the GACC extensive experience in the government and not-for-profit sectors of community services, school and community development, and more recently, university teaching for Monash, Adelaide and Flinders Universities. She holds an Honours degree in the Bachelor of Arts (Humanities and Social Sciences) from Monash University, with majors in politics and mass communications.
During five years in South Australia, Victoria worked on a PhD in Adelaide University's Politics Department, researching media technologies' impacts on the printed book in modern Anglo-American culture.
Victoria returned to Gippsland in 2002 to take up the project officer role. Victoria's main role with the GACC is assisting proponents develop funding applications for the Regional Partnerships Programme. She also researches and writes briefings on a range of topics for the GACC.
She is interested in how economic, social, and environmental concerns are addressed in regional development, and in the relationship between the three levels of government. Other issues of interest which help inform Victoria's work are the built and natural environments, and their relationship to vibrant and healthy communities; current debates around water and energy resources; and the importance of telecommunications technologies for rural areas. | | |  Bronwyn Wilson Customer Service / Administration Support Officer bronwynw@gippslandacc.com.au Bronwyn Wilson is a committed Gippslander, who has worked in the Latrobe Valley throughout her career. Bronwyn has fifteen years experience in administration, customer service and office support roles, in a range of organisations. These include government, private and not-for-profit sectors including ten years at the Monash University Gippsland campus.
Bronwyn brings several talents to the GACC including project management, event co-ordination, a high level of administration skills, advanced skills in computers and a high level of experience in customer service and office processes. She is very efficient in what she does and has a friendly, positive and warm approach.
Bronwyn has taken on roles of responsibility through local community organizations, primarily as singer in local bands as well as a youth leader and music coordinator of a small local team.
Bronwyn has an interest in the development of the Gippsland region and local talent being recognized Australia wide. | | |
