What to do...

  • Check our Events Calendar for seminars and workshops on how to start a business.
  • Certain industry associations and government agencies may be able to help - search our directory for contact details.
  • Contact your nearest Business Enterprise Centre for free advice and support.
  • If you're in a rural area, contact your Area Consultative Committee about government priorities and programs.
  • Find out if you are eligible for a New Enterprise Incentive Scheme.
  • Contact the ACCC Small Business Helpline for assistance with understanding your responsibilities under the Trade Practices Act.
  • Access specialist advice, know how and technologies to improve your business performance through the Australian Industry Productivity Centres.
