How to get involved
By working together and sharing knowledge and experience Gippsland-wide, we can:
learn from one another's experiences and solutions
keep what we value - environment and life-style
identify and increase opportunities for sustainable development
build vibrant communities, and provide opportunities for our young people.

Five Working Groups are determining how to take action on issues identified at an Action Planning Forum in Sale last year. The areas they are covering are:
harnessing the region’s human capital;
building networks;
taking greater advantage of proximity to markets;
gaining greater access to research and development; and
communication.

If you are interested in participating in a Working Group you can email Geoff Pryor from Regional Knowledge Works at gefpryor@ozemail.com.au  and let him know which group you are interested in.

There's a Discussion Circle Kit on this web site which you can download and use with a group of friends, colleagues, club members or acquaintances. Click on the Project Documents page. You can meet for an evening, or over a period of weeks, or even months – whatever suits you – and send your ideas back to the project team via gefpryor@ozemail.com.au

The processes have been set in place and are there for the people of Gippsland to use and help build a brighter future of their rich and diverse region.
Give your ideas to the project team by forming, or participating in, a Discussion Group
Join a Working Group and help make things happen for Gippsland
Use the many networks operating in the region to discuss issues and start new ventures.

Organisations and individuals can contribute their ideas to this project by taking part in Discussion Circle groups to consider some of the key issues for the region. These Discussion Circles can take place wherever you want. They can be part of a regular meeting of an existing group, or they can be made up of friends and colleagues chatting across a kitchen table, at work or in a café, or pub.
